Even if you needed to, you cannot ignore all the tailored and abstract Toyota 86 sport coupes that are on show at this week's Yedo auto Salon in Japan.
We don't understand whether Toyota should worry, but a great range of tuners focused their efforts on neutering the appearance of the rear-wheel drive automobile that is marketed as the Toyota GT 86 outside of Japan and the descendent FR-S in North America.
While the scholars at NATS gave the 86 AN Audi R8-esque look and Toyota's own Original accent sub-brand a classic feel, the always-imaginative crew from Japan's DAMD decided to show their 86 into a mini-me Lexus LFA business it the LFT-86.
The cosmetic transformation begins with a brand new forepart that keeps the 86's headlamps but adds a newly titled bumper that mimics the LFA with triangular-shaped aspect vents, and continues with the aspect skirts.
The arse also retains the stock lights gaining a brand new bumper with honeycomb vents, a diffuser and three exhaust pipes, all arranged in the same means as on the Lexus supercar. The Lexus logos and a recent set of alloy wheels similar in style to those used on the LFA Nürburgring Edition, complete the planning.
You can take a more in-depth inspect DAMD's Lexus LFT-86 in the video and gallery below, and if you wish, share your thoughts on the look in the comments that follow.
