For the Essen Motor Show (November 30 – Dec 8), BMW adjusting professional AC Schnitzer ready a unique venture in the guise of a BMW 428i police car idea designed under the “Tune It! Safe!” effort.
The Organization of In german Automobile The tuners (VDAT) releases a unique idea car every season under this effort, which is reinforced by the Cops and the Government Ministry for Transportation, Growth and Street Growth.
Like in the past four decades, this season's idea is a police car. In accordance with the BMW 428i Coupé, the AC Schnitzer ACS4 2.8i Coupé delivers not only visible up-dates but performance improvements as well – as with AC Schnitzer non-police 4-Series designs, also existing in Essen.
The 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine has been uprated to 290hp (296PS) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft), up from the conventional model’s 242hp (245PS) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). Thanks to these improvements, the 428i research speeds up from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 a few moments (0.2 a few moments quicker than the conventional 428i) – which may come in useful for activities.
Besides the apparent visible and sound police components from Foliatec and Hella, the car activities adjusting improvements such as the double activities back silencer created of stainless-steel with new chromed “Evo Racing” tailpipe cuts, as well as AC Schnitzer Kind VIII Light and portable Made Tires in 9.0J x 21” fixed with Hankook “Ventus S1evo” car tyres in 245/30 ZR 21 91Y.
